The Author
Marcus De Storm was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, October 1967. Living in Woodhouse, Leeds, until the age of four, the family moved to Seacroft, Leeds, where his mother still lives. From the age of four until three years ago, Marcus was almost fully raised in what was once the biggest residential housing estate in Europe.
In 2000, Marcus and his wife, Carol, moved to Rhyl, North Wales, for just more than three years. Finding that there were many customs, traditions and biased atitudes, Marcus and his wife returned to a very much changed Seacroft, and indeed, Leeds. Friends and family had all changed with the times, the rules, the laws and the suppressed dictations of corporations, companies and organisations throughout the region.
Settling down in their new home, both Marcus and his wife planned a family, and eventually they became pregnant with their very first twins, Chantal and Jade. This was considered a godsend and together they made the best of the walk in parenthood. Then, in 2007, both parents were given a move, due to their home being a part of a new building project, and so, they moved to Walton, Wetherby. This was where the journey began.
Having more than one thousand poems to his name, Marcus’s resume boasts three novel’s, one of which is a collection of Story Shorts. As well as more than seventeen other novel’s and Story Shorts In Progress, the future for writing is well established by the pen.
